While at War (Spanish: Mientras dure la guerra) is a 2019 Spanish-Argentine historical drama film directed by Alejandro Amenábar. Set in 1936, during the Spanish Civil War, the plot tracks the plight of philosopher and writer Miguel de Unamuno (performed by Karra Elejalde) in Salamanca, a city controlled by the Rebel faction.

Storyline

Writer Miguel de Unamuno faces himself and his ideals after the 1930's military coup d'état.
