This is a Major Records/Valentino sound effect that was originally released on the Sound Effects Volume 8 LP record some time in the 1960s. Originally an RKO Radio Pictures effect.
One of the sounds in this sound effect was actually recorded from an elephant, and the one following it was likely recorded from a cougar.
