Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue is a 2010 British CGI-animated direct-to-DVD comedy-drama adventure film and feature-length special of the British television series, Thomas & Friends. The film is produced by HIT Entertainment and animated by Nitrogen Studios.
This special takes place in between the thirteenth and fourteenth seasons of the show.
Storyline[]
With a new search and rescue centre being built on Sodor, Thomas saves the day and is rewarded with a trip to the mainland, but instead becomes stranded on a wild and wonderful island.
