The Tom and Jerry Show is a TV series produced by Renegade Animation, Warner Bros. Animation, and Turner Entertainment in association with Cartoon Network. It is another series in the Tom and Jerry franchise and was made originally for Boomerang.

Advantage Audio is the main post production sound service. Rich Danhakl is the series' uncredited sound designer and sound effects editor. One of the music composers on the series, Dan Blessinger, contributed sound design for Season 2[1]Amalgamated Sound and Picture often contributed to post production sound services; later seasons also involved Bang Zoom! Entertainment and DBMIX Studios.

Series director Darrell Van Citters wanted the sound design as close to the original Tom and Jerry shorts as possible, and ultimately Advantage Audio used more of the original, classic MGM sound effects than any other post production sound services used (i.e. DigiPost.TV, Audio Circus, and Glenwood Editorial) for the Tom and Jerry franchise. Due to the quality of certain classic MGM sound effects, sound designer Rich Danhakl alternatively re-created many of these sound effects at his own studio to sound as close to the original ones as possible. Rich also performed some additional vocals for Tom and Jerry, namely screams.
