The New Way Things Work (re-release, 1998)
The Way Things Work is an interactive computer game that was published by DK Multimedia and released in 1994, based on the 1988 DK book by David Macaulay. An updated re-release was published and released in 1998, entitled The New Way Things Work, to tie in to the revised edition of the book. Because the latter is largely the same as the previous game albeit with some new content added, both are covered on this page.
It explains how various devices and principles work, from simple machines to elaborate electronics, and the sciences behind them.
