Sylvanian Families (シルバニアファミリー, Shirubania Famirī) is a syndicated Japanese-American animated series based on the Sylvanian Families merchandising franchise developed by Epoch. The series was produced in the United States by DiC Animation City with the animation companies by KK DIC Asia, Tokyo Movie Shinsha, Sei Young Animation and Mook Animation being produced in Japan. It was first broadcast in 1987 in First-run syndication, with reruns on The CBN Family Channel in the late 1980s and PAX TV during the late 1990s.

The Post Production Sound Services were provided by the Animation City Editorial Services, Inc., Richard Bruce Elliott serves as a supervising sound editor. Russell Brower serves as a sound effect editor. Richard S. Gannon serves as a dialogue editor. Michael Mancini serves as a re-recording mixer. Greg LaPlante serves as a sound transfer.

Additional Sound Effects were also done by E&M Planning Center (uncredited). Michihiro Ito presumably did sound effects in Japan at that time.
