Sound Ring (有限会社サウンドリング Yūgen Gaisha Saundo Ringu) is a Japanese sound post-production company dedicated to sound effects editing for anime and movies.

History[]

Sound Ring was founded on May 1, 1995 by former E&M Planning Center employees Michihiro Ito and Takahisa Ishino.

It participated in many anime productions (from Toei Animation, J.C.Staff, Production I.G and Gainax) in charge of sound production (Glovision, Phonisia, Magic Capsule and HALF H·P STUDIO).

After the TV anime Majin Bone, which ended in March 2015, Sound Ring's credits were no longer confirmed. Based on this fact, Sound Ring seems to have gone out of business in 2015.
