The horn heard in this sound effect is an Old Cast Nathan P3 air horn, which was commonly used on the Southern Pacific Railroad. It was also used on other railroads such as the Canadian Pacific, Illinois Central, Alaska Railroad, Norfolk Southern, and several other American railroads. The crossing bells that are heard in the beginning of the sound effect and after the train passes are said to be the Beverly Hills Railroad Crossing according to Aiden Andrews.
