Its earliest known usage was in The Ruff and Reddy Show episode "Hocus Pocus Focus", released on December 21, 1957, and later would find its way into other Hanna-Barbera shows as well, like The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Quick Draw McGraw Show, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and others. It would also make its way to other studios like Disney, Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures. Its' first appearance without Hanna-Barbera was in Heathcliff, debuted in 1984. Its' first movie appearance was in Beauty and the Beast, released on November 22, 1991. It's still often used in modern media today.
