This sound is a combination of ZIP, CARTOON - SHARP WHISTLE ZIP followed by ZIP, CARTOON - QUICK SLIDE WHISTLE ZIP DOWN. Originally a Disney sound effect, it debuted in the Donald Duck short, "Chef Donald" on December 5, 1941.

In 1957, Hanna-Barbera picked up this sound effect and used it in H-B cartoons. Then, Sound Ideas added it to the Hanna-Barbera Sound Effects Library in 1993.
