Sesame Street is a 1969 preschool puppet series produced by Sesame Workshop, formerly known as Children's Television Workshop. It has aired on PBS since 1969. Since 2015, episodes are aired first-run on HBO.

Storyline
Big Bird, Elmo, Grover, Cookie Monster and all of their friends want you to learn about new things every day on Sesame Street. Elmo has a pet fish named Dorothy, who appears in the segment Elmo's World. Co-productions of the show including Plaza Sesamo, Vila Sesamo and Shalom Sesame appear on TV too. Sesame Street is a very popular television series that has won an emmy for Best Program and Best Educational Show.
