This sound is used many times in "The Empire Strikes Back". In "Return of the Jedi", the sound of the Death Star's reactor beginning to explode as it's shot by Lando or the explosion/flash during the line "I'm hit...!" are another good reference/source.
To reference the variant that's just the first half of the sound: "Cast Away", just when the jet crash sequence begins, after Chuck pulls a band-aid off.
