These are sound effects that were made by Skywalker Sound for usage on the Alien Tripods in War of the Worlds (2005). It was created using the sound of a didgeridoo blowing and an african drum to punctuate each note. They were created by Randy Thom.

- The Polar Express (2004) (A slightly extended and lower-pitched variant of the the 1st half of this sound or a very similar sound is used once with a reverb effect added as an ambient sound for the locomotive as it sits idling outside of the Hero Boy's house before he walks up to look at it.)
- Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016)
- Rango (2011) (Only the 1st half is heard once when the giant monster eye opens up as Rango and the townsfolk walk through the tunnels under Dirt.)
- Scary Movie 4 (2006) (A heavily edited/processed version of this sound is used.)
