This is a Skywalker Sound sound effect exclusive to their library. it is, according to Christopher Boyes, the sound of gasoline exploding as part of a Blue Angels air show stunt. It also includes a subtle blend of SKYWALKER EXPLOSION 05.
It was referred by Christopher Boyes as "a very concussive blast" in an interview of him in a behind-the scenes making-of featurette about "Titan A.E." (2000) called The Quest for TITAN.
It should not to be confused with Super Monkey Ball Explosion Sound, nor Sound Ideas, SCI FI - HOLLOW ENERGY ZAP, CARTOON due to the latter sounding like a cut-off first portion of this sound.
