  • Year debut: October 30, 1981
  • First heard: Halloween II (a Universal film)

In 1990, The Hollywood Edge added this ambience sound to The Premiere Edition Volume 1 library. In 2014, after the bankruptcy of The Hollywood Edge, Sound Ideas took over to acquire it.

It's the same sound effect as Crickets 1 BT020401 from Background Trax. It shouldn't be confused with CRICKET - TWO CRICKETS CHIRPING, ANIMAL, INSECT from the Hanna-Barbera Sound Effects Library or Animals - Several crickets 01 from the Network Sound Effects Library.

Sound Effect Description
