This sound effect can be found on The Premiere Edition Volume 1, which was made by The Hollywood Edge. It debuted in Oliver & Company in 1988. It shouldn't be confused with ELECTRICITY, SPARK - HIGH VOLTAGE SPARKS, CONTINUOUS ARCING, ELECTRICAL 03 from The General Series 6000 Sound Effects Library, which starts off sounding similar, or with ELECTRICITY - ELECTRIC HUM AND CRACKLE from the Hanna-Barbera Sound Effects Library, which sounds like a high pitched version of this. Originally a Todd-AO effect.
