This is a slide whistle effect used often by the Filmation studio, via the library of its usual post-production audio company Horta-Mahana. It was later acquired by Sam Horta for his Horta Editorial & Sound company after Horta-Mahana folded, and can be sporadically heard in projects using the Horta Editorial sound library in the late 80s/early 90s.
