Dr. Slump is an anime series based off the books. It aired in 1981 to 1986, then got a reboot in 1997.
Storyline[]
The series follows the scientist Senbei Norimaki and the android girl Arale living among the strange residents of the universe, including the famous Sun which he brushes his teeth all the time in the morning in all intros of the show. Hidenori Arai is the sound editor for the show, and Toei Animation is the company that distributed the show.
