Daffy Duck's Thanks-for-Giving Special is a 1980 Looney Tunes Thanksgiving special, starring Daffy Duck.
Storyline[]
While going over the months on his calendar, Daffy Duck decides to rename Thanksgiving Day to Thanks–For–Giving Day, a day where he gets thanks for spreading so much joy all these years.
Despite J.L.'s refusal, Daffy insists on showing his cartoon titled "Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24½th Century". He then tells J.L. about his past adventures in "Robin Hood Daffy" and "Drip-Along Daffy". Still not keen on Daffy's idea, J.L. threatens to fire him, but Daffy continues to talk about his life. He looks back on his misery of being the henpecked husband in "His Bitter Half".
Finally giving in, J.L. decides to show Daffy's Duck Dodgers sequel.
After Daffy's cartoon finishes, J.L. suggests they remake it before they shelve it (meaning abandon). This is enough to make Daffy snap and say "You're despicable!"
