Casper: A Spirited Beginning is a 1997 live-action/animated hybrid direct-to-video film, based on the Harvey Comics character Casper the Friendly Ghost, produced by 20th Century Fox (But in 2006, they took over to Classic Media.), The Harvey Entertainment Company and Saban Entertainment, the film was a prequel to the 1995 Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment feature film, "Casper".
