Black Beauty is an American family film released on July 16, 2015. It is based on the 1877 novel of the same name by Anna Sewell. The film centers a 15-year old girl who volunteers at a city pound, and convinces her grandfather in the country to adopt a horse who was rescued from its abusive owner.
